Different areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa require permits and registrations. These are part of our expedition logistics, arranged by our team in Skardu. You will be told what you personally need to carry.

Often yes for valleys and lower routes, and sometimes no for high passes. Tell us the window you have and we will say plainly whether the route you want is open.

For treks, no fixed certification is required, but prior multi-week trekking helps. For mountaineering expeditions, your climbing record is the deciding factor. We would rather talk you into a route that suits you than a route that does not.
