Planning for mountain roads

Roads in the northern areas are affected by weather, landslides and seasonal conditions. Journey times are estimates, not guarantees, and we build buffers into itineraries instead of promising a fixed arrival time. Where a day is genuinely tight we say so, so you can brief your clients honestly rather than discovering it on the road.

Vehicle and local service combinations

Most of our programmes combine a road leg with a mountain or cultural leg. We quote the road portion separately where it helps an agent build a package, and we can supply only the ground handling if you are arranging your own accommodation and guiding.

Entry requirements depend on nationality and are set by the Pakistani authorities. Send your clients to current official guidance early, and point them at our Pakistan visa information page for the summary we publish.

How to request a quote

  • Arrival point and arrival time, and departure point and time.
  • Number of passengers and the luggage involved.
  • Dates, and the regions on the itinerary.
  • Whether you also need accommodation, guiding or permits arranged.
