Vertical Explorers is a Pakistan-based expedition and trekking operator with offices in Skardu and Islamabad. We plan and run journeys for travellers from around the world, including international tour operators, travel companies and independent travellers.

What our team handles

  • Permits and registrations for the areas that require them.
  • Ground logistics: road access, transfers between valleys and the trailhead.
  • Guiding and crew coordination, including local high-altitude guides.
  • Accommodation coordination in towns and at trailheads.
  • Trip-by-trip planning so the itinerary matches the season, the group and the weather window.
  • Ongoing contact during the trip, for travellers and for the agents who sold it.

How we work

We are a small operations team, which means the people who plan your trip are the people coordinating it on the ground. If you book as a private traveller you speak with us directly. If you book through a partner agency, we stay the point of contact for the operation.
