Mountain Expeditions

Mountain expeditions are the serious end of what we run: sustained climbs on high peaks, with rope time, glacier travel and weather that decides the schedule. Our operations team in Skardu handles the permits, the approach logistics and the ground support these climbs need.

The peaks we work in

• The Karakoram: K2 and Broad Peak, among the highest mountains on earth.
• Nanga Parbat: the Diamer and Rupal faces, and the surrounding base camp treks.
• The Baltistan and Hunza walls: Trango Tower, Spantik and Amin Brak.
• Lower but serious objectives: Shaigiri, Rush Lake, Sonia Peak and Kusre Gunge.

How we approach a climbing expedition

• We start with the route, the objective and the window you have, and we tell you honestly what the mountain allows in that window.
• We plan the permit and logistics timeline first, because in these ranges the paperwork sets the schedule.
• We brief you on the skills the route actually requires, and on the acclimatisation profile, before any deposit conversation.
• Where a season is marginal, we say so rather than sell it.
